Job summary

Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc. is seeking a Weekend OIP Bushing Winder in Alamo, Tennessee. In this role, you will work with assembly drawings and measuring devices to wind bushings according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in manufacturing.

This position requires the ability to work on hard surfaces for long periods and the capability to lift up to 35 pounds. You will be trained on new equipment and processes and must work effectively in a team.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a manufacturing setting reading and interpreting assembly drawings.
• Ability to stand and/or walk on hard surfaces for up to 10 hours per day.
• Capacity to regularly pick up and manipulate up to 35 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Work with assembly drawings and measuring devices to properly wind bushings.
• Provide information to maintenance and quality assurance about winding equipment performance.
• Cross-train between condenser bushing winding machines as needed.
