Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas in Faribault is seeking a skilled brake press operator for a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 6:00am-6:30pm. You will read and interpret blueprints, set up and operate brake presses, measure parts, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, and 2 years of related manufacturing experience. Benefits include insurance, pension, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED, plus 2 years in manufacturing/production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches or specifications.
• Ability to set up and operate brake presses and measure parts.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and specs to determine fabrication sequencing.
• Set up, program and operate brake presses per procedures.
• Measure parts and adjust machines to meet quality standards.
• Train new team members on machines and safety practices.
• Maintain 5S and follow safety policies.
