Job summary

Freshstart Recovery in Phoenix, AZ seeks experienced Caregivers/BHTs to join our residential treatment team serving adults. This is a part-time on-site role in South Phoenix requiring compassionate, discreet client care and reliable punctuality.

The ideal candidate has six months of behavioral health experience, a HS diploma or GED, and active CPR. Responsibilities include individual and group support, assisting the Primary Therapist, documentation, HIPAA compliance, and maintaining a safe

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in a Human Services related field.
• Associates Degree plus 2 years in Behavioral Healthcare.
• HS Diploma or GED with 4 years in Behavioral Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provision of support in an individual and group setting.
• Assist the Primary Therapist in managing their caseload.
• Provide client support in treatment and in residence.
• Coordinate and assist with client activities.
• Create and maintain a safe, client-focused treatment environment.
• Assist clinical and admissions staff as needed.
• Documentation of care and activities.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Supervise and manage the therapeutic milieu.
• Facilitate smoke breaks, ensure clients remain on property and adhere to time frames.
• Conduct breathalyzers and urine drug screens and report to clinical team.
• Ensure client satisfaction with care.
• Adhere to facility policy and state & federal law.

Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Human Services
