Job summary

Freshstart Recovery in Phoenix, AZ is seeking experienced Caregivers/BHTs to join our residential treatment team. You will provide compassionate direct care to adults, supporting treatment in a structured setting and assisting with client activities.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in behavioral healthcare, a high school diploma or GED, and current CPR. The position is part-time in a residential facility, emphasizing confidentiality and quality client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in a human services field or equivalent experience as outlined.
• 2+ years in a behavioral healthcare setting or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED with substantial relevant experience acceptable.
• Professional appearance and strong ethics are required.
• CPR certification must be current and valid.
• Valid Arizona driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in individual and group settings.
• Assist the Primary Therapist in managing caseloads.
• Provide client support during treatment and residence.
• Coordinate and assist with client activities and treatment milieu.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Document and maintain treatment environment safety.
