Job summary

Freshstart Recovery in Phoenix is seeking experienced Caregivers/BHTs to join our residential treatment team serving adults. The role focuses on direct care, client support, and maintaining a safe, compassionate treatment environment.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, with six months of behavioral healthcare experience preferred. Compensation ranges from $12.00 to $17.00 per hour for full-time, weekday shifts from 4pm to 12am.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of experience in behavioral healthcare.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BHT/Caregiver role requires compassion and discretion.
• Professional appearance, ethics and integrity.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License and CPR certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literacy and ability to document care.

Responsibilities

• Provision of support in an individual and group setting.
• Assisting the Primary Therapist in management of their caseload.
• Providing client support services while in treatment and in residence.
• Coordination of client activities.
• Creating and maintaining a safe, client-focused treatment environment.
• Assisting clinical and admissions staff as needed.
• Documentation and HIPAA compliance.
• Supervision and management of the therapeutic milieu.
• Facilitates smoke breaks and ensures client safety on property.
• Facilitates drug screens and reports to clinical team.
• Ensuring client satisfaction with care.
• Adherence to facility policy and state & federal law.
