Job summary
Preferred Family Health Care in Quincy, IL is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician focused on weekend medical support to join the Clarity Healthcare – Residential team. This part-time role offers weekend shifts Friday 7-1 and Sat/Sun 7-7 with on-call coverage as needed, serving individuals in recovery with compassionate, hands-on care.
Candidates with CNA or MA experience or backgrounds in direct patient care and medical support are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum two years of consistent work history.
- CNA or MA background preferred for weekend coverage.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities and recovery-focused support.
- Provide education and encouragement throughout the treatment process.
- Monitor client well-being and report concerns as needed.
- Assist with admissions, safety checks, and specimen collection.
- Coordinate with nursing staff regarding client care needs.
- Monitor and communicate changes in client status.
- Participate in treatment planning and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Support program operations and adherence to treatment guidelines.
- Assist with client transportation when required.
