Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare is seeking a Weekend Baylor Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) to provide exceptional care to our residents on weekends. Earn full-time pay for working weekends with a 32-hour schedule and a Baylor Bonus Program that pays as if you worked 40 hours.

You will administer medications, conduct assessments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support senior residents while enjoying weekdays off.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
• Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Completing resident assessments and monitoring changes in condition.
• Collaborating with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Responding to resident needs and medical emergencies with professionalism and compassion.
• Accurately documenting care in the electronic medical record.
• Supervising and supporting Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Promoting a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment for every resident.

Baylor Schedule

• Every Saturday: 16-hour shift

• Every Sunday: 16-hour shift

• Work 32 hours each weekend

• Receive an additional 8 hours of pay (when both 16 hours shifts are completed) through our Baylor Bonus Program—paid as if you worked a 40-hour week
