Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in St. Louis is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician 2 for Weekend Days. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and four years in avionics/electrical fields; A&P license, FCC, NCATT are preferred. You will test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems to support on-time schedules.

Excellent communication and teamwork are essential as you work from blueprints and schematics, adapt to schedule changes, and contribute to a culture of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four years avionics/electrical field experience or two years schooling plus two years experience.
• A&P license preferred; FCC and NCATT preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent communication and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Performs installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per specs and manuals.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of installations; repairs malfunctioning systems.
• Repairs or replaces defective wiring and components following proper techniques.
• Performs engineering changes and maintains documentation for inspections.
• Sets up and operates test equipment; conducts functional and operational tests.
• Complies with safety programs and drives schedule adherence.
• May participate in flight tests in support of certification.
