Job summary

Rentex is seeking a Quality Control Technician for weekend shifts in Upper Marlboro, MD. This role focuses on QC procedures for returned AV equipment and ensuring devices meet our quality standards before they leave the warehouse.

You will work in a warehouse environment, diagnose issues, log repairs, and organize testing results while delivering reliable customer support. Prior AV equipment and computer familiarity is preferred, with ability to adapt to rotating hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with professional AV and computer equipment.
• Basic understanding of inventory forecasting software.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control (QC) procedures on returning equipment.
• Ensure all cases and equipment are presentable and in ideal working condition.
• Diagnose, log, and repair damaged items.
• Organize and store all tested equipment.
• Correctly process missing or damaged equipment.
• Be able to handle hard deadlines and plan workflow depending on client needs.
• Provide exceptional customer support for clients.
• Follow direction of the department leader and managers.
• Assist other departments when necessary.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
