Job summary

Meridian Health Services, located in West Lafayette, IN, is seeking a part-time Assistant Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary inpatient psychiatric team at River Bend Hospital.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively in writing and verbally, assist in treatment planning, provide individual and group therapy, and maintain timely progress notes in the EMR system; weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Experience with developmental and/or mental health challenges preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and writing treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group treatment to patients.
• Maintain progress notes in the EMR system.
• Provide crisis intervention as trained.
• Maintain documentation in line with standards and regulations.
• Engage with families and treatment teams.
