Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring an Armed Security Officer on a part-time weekend schedule. The role includes armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring, incident reporting, and top-tier customer service.

Pay rate is $46.03 per hour with an additional $5.50 per hour for Health & Welfare. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, ongoing training, and growth opportunities within a collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle is required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification from AHA or ARC is required.
• Federal and state firearms qualifications may be required.
• National Weapons Detection Training Program (NWDTP) certification may be required.
• OC, Baton and handcuffing certifications may be required.
• Defensive and de-escalation tactics certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security to protect people and property.
• Patrol the facility on foot or vehicle and monitor CCTV/alarms.
• Report safety concerns and security breaches in writing and verbally.
• Respond to emergencies with professionalism and adherence to protocols.
• Greet visitors and assist as needed, following site post orders.
• Maintain high-quality security services and build client relationships.
