Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer to provide armed protective services for a high-profile client. Duties include armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring, incident reporting, and customer service.

The Armed Security Officer will help ensure the safety of personnel, visitors and property by deterring threats and following security protocols. This part-time weekend position offers $46.03/hour base plus $5.50/hour for H&W, plus benefits and ongoing training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license if driving company or customer vehicle.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• CPR/AED and First Aid, firearms qualifications, NWDTP certification, OC/Baton/handcuffing certs.
• Two years armed security experience or military service or armed civilian LE experience.
• Must be 21+ and able to operate radio/console monitors.
• English communication skills; written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security services to protect people and property.
• Build relationships with client employees and guests.
• Report safety concerns and security breaches verbally and in writing.
• Respond to emergencies following protocol.
• Follow site-specific operations manuals and post orders.
• Greet visitors, patrol the facility, monitor CCTV and alarms.
