Allied Universal in San Francisco is seeking an Armed Security Officer to provide armed protective services for a high profile client. Duties include armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring, incident reporting, and outstanding customer service.

This full-time role covers weekdays and weekends with a pay rate of $46.03 per hour, plus $5.50 per hour for H&W. The position emphasizes compliance with security protocols, professional conduct, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a company or client vehicle.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local law and may be required before employment.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification (AHA/ARC) required or obtainable.
• Federal and state firearms qualifications required.
• National Weapons Detection Training Program (NWDTP) certification required.
• OC, Baton and handcuffing certifications required.
• Defensive tactics and de-escalation training required.
• Two+ years armed security experience or equivalent military/service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security to protect people and property at a high profile site.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships with employees and visitors.
• Report safety concerns and security incidents verbally and in writing.
• Respond to emergencies and security breaches per protocol.
• Follow site-specific procedures and post orders at all times.
• Greet visitors and employees and assist as needed.
• Patrol the facility on foot or by vehicle and monitor alarms and CCTV.
