Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Nacelles Technician for the weekend shift in Cedar Hill, TX. The role focuses on sheet metal work, reading drawings, and applying fasteners and sealants in a fast-paced MRO environment.

The ideal candidate has basic to advanced knowledge of aircraft structures and can work from drawings with attention to quality and safety guidelines. High school diploma required; A&P license welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe and Powerplant license not required but welcomed.
• Valid driver’s license for airline travel and/or passport ideal but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintain, clean and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling as needed.
• Safely operate shop equipment including brakes, presses, riveters, shears, and hand tools.
• Possess basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals and maintenance databases.
• Communicate effectively in English and perform other duties as assigned.
