Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an experienced Aircraft Composite Technician for the weekend shift in Cedar Hill, TX. The role focuses on repairing parts with wet layup and prepreg, including autoclave or controlled oven cures, following strict FAA guidelines.

You will work with close tolerance measuring tools and handheld tools, assemble using jigs and fixtures, and maintain bagging materials while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; A&P license not required but welcome.
• Journeyman: 0-5 years of experience as composite technician.
• Master: 5+ years’ experience as composite technician.

Responsibilities

• Repair parts/components using Wet Layup and Prepreg.
• Operate curing ovens, autoclave, and related shop equipment.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling; follow FAA guidelines and safety rules.
