Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician to join our 2nd shift on site in Cedar Hill, TX. Responsibilities include sheet metal work, blueprint interpretation, and maintaining shop tools and facilities.

The role requires knowledge of sheet metal processes and the ability to communicate in English. A high school diploma is required; an A&P license is welcome but not required. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Powerplant license is not required, but welcome.
• Ability to obtain a valid driver’s license and/or passport is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintain, clean and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Safely operate shop equipment such as brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears, and hand tools.
