Powder Springs Center for Nursing and Healing in Powder Springs, GA seeks a creative Activities Assistant to bring joy and engagement to residents' daily lives. If you love music, crafts, and making people smile, this is the perfect role.

You will assist the Activity Director in planning and running programs, provide one-on-one visits for bed-bound residents, and help with crafts while ensuring accurate documentation. A warm, caring personality and teamwork are essential; CNA is optional.

Qualifications

• Warm, caring personality and team-player attitude.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for working with seniors.
• Experience in activities or elder care is a plus, but not required.
• CNA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in planning and running programs.
• Implement scheduled activities and provide one-on-one visits for bed-bound residents.
• Help residents with crafts and creative projects.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Support residents' social, emotional, and spiritual well-being through meaningful interactions.
