Job summary

The Waters is seeking an Activities Coordinator to support the Petals Memory Care Program, designing and delivering engaging activities to help residents thrive and foster meaningful social connections.

The role may include exercise classes, arts, social events, and excursions, with weekend hours required; experience with seniors or memory care preferred; the team values compassion, teamwork, and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

• Love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions.
• Enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families.
• Previous experience working with seniors and/or memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Play a meaningful role in developing and executing activities which help residents thrive, including exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, and off-site excursions.
• Assist residents with activities of their choice which may include group activities and/or personal engagements.
