Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC is seeking an Activities Coordinator to support the Petals Memory Care Program, delivering person-centered social connections that inspire joy and meaningful interactions for residents. Weekend hours are included, with potential Saturday or Sunday shifts.

This role emphasizes physical wellbeing, creative arts, social connections, and life fulfillment within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Love of seniors and passion for meaningful interactions.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families.
• Previous experience working with seniors and/or memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute activities which help residents thrive, including exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, personal engagements, and off-site excursions.
• Assist residents with activities of their choice, including group activities and/or personal engagements.

The Activities Coordinator, also titled The Active Life Coordinator, is a valuable member of our Petals Memory Care Program which provides our residents with supportive and person-centered social connections to inspire joy, meaningful interactions, and life fulfillment. Some of the elements of our Petals Program include Physical Wellbeing, Creative Arts, Social Connections, Waters Academy, Integrated & Spiritual Therapies and Music & Arts Enrichment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Play a meaningful role in developing and executing activities which help our residents thrive. Some examples of activities include exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, personal engagements, off-site excursions, etc.
