Job summary

Award Care at Beneva in Sarasota, FL is seeking an Activities Assistant to implement the established plan for resident activities and recreation. This role focuses on creating engaging, meaningful experiences for residents and their families.

You will help coordinate events, assess resident needs, and support the Community Life Director in expanding services, while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some experience in providing recreation services in healthcare preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Must be compassionate, dedicated and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident activities, assessments and activity profiles.
• Assist in scheduling movies, parties and activities for residents.
• Encourage participation in recreational and social activities and organize games and crafts.
• Assist Community Life Director in expanding services.
