Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus six months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of residents and the public.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must possess excellent people skills and a sincere appreciation of the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident activities and events.
• Assist with monthly activities calendar and resident mail.
• Promote programs in small and large group settings.
• Encourage resident participation in programs and activities.
