Job summary

Empire Care Centers – East Cobb Center in Marietta, GA is seeking a compassionate activities assistant to lead daily planned activities for our residents. If you value creativity, enjoy music and the arts, and can organize engaging activities, we want to hear from you.

You'll receive guidance and support from our Activities Director. Assist the Activity Director to implement the activities program, follow the schedule, provide one-on-one activities for bed-bound residents, and help with crafts.

Qualifications

• A warm and caring personality.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Preferred, but not required, experience working with the elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director to implement the activities program.
• Follow the current activities schedule as directed.
• Provide one-on-one activities for bed-bound residents.
• Assist residents with distributing and engaging in craft activities.
• Complete necessary forms, reports, and progress notes accurately.
• Identify and address residents' spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs through routine interactions.
