Job summary

• Identify and address residents' social, recreational, and emotional needs through routine interactions.

In this role, you'll receive guidance and support from our Activity Supervisor.

**Responsibilities:**

As an Activities Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Activity Director in implementing the activities program.
• Following the current activities schedule as directed.
• Providing one-on-one activities for bed-bound residents.
• Assisting residents with distributing and engaging in craft activities.
• Completing necessary forms, reports, and progress notes accurately.
• Identifying and addressing residents' spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs through routine interactions.

**Requirements:**

To succeed as an Activities Assistant, you should have:

• A warm and caring personality.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Preferred, but not required, experience working with the elderly population.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.
• Weekend availability REQUIRED
