Job summary

Bosch-HomeComfort in Norman, OK is seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator III for the 3rd shift (Fri-Sun 5pm–5am) with overtime as needed. You will operate, monitor, and maintain diverse manufacturing equipment to ensure quality output and production efficiency.

You will read blueprints and manuals, perform routine maintenance, document production data, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to safety protocols and working with a team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience working Weekends.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints accurately.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Technical certifications related to machine operation preferred.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor various types of manufacturing equipment for optimal performance.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on assigned machinery.
• Conduct quality checks on produced items to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Enter production data and generate reports using computer systems.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production efficiency.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or production issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes.
