Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Morristown, TN, is seeking candidates for a Weekend 2nd Shift operator role on-site. You will work Saturday and Sunday plus one extra day, 11:00pm–11:00am, handling CNC machines and related equipment while ensuring quality and safety.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalency.
Three months on-the-job training during introductory period.
Six months' experience to qualify for certified operator status.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
Mental and visual attention.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds consistently.

Responsibilities

Operate on weekend 2nd shift from 11:00pm to 11:00am (Sat, Sun, and one additional day).
Wand onto shop floor data system for labor and follow product criteria and activity instructions.
Maintain safety precautions and TPM checks; keep work area clean.
Use equipment/tools including CNC machines, press, ovens, and hand tools.
Inspect cores for quality and load/unload as required; complete OEE sheets.
