Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. has an opening for a CNC Operator on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-10:30pm) in Milford, NH. You will set up and operate CNC machines, maximize output, and ensure accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and other tools. Experience with Citizen Swiss-type machines is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years machining experience or a recent certificate in precision machining or related field.
• Strong understanding of machining practices and use of measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC machines and keep them running efficiently.
• Make dimensional adjustments to ensure tolerances and high quality parts.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators; edit programs as needed.
• Follow procedures and safety standards; communicate delays or issues promptly.
