Job summary

Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Pinecroft is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to maintain all surgical instrumentation and prepare trays for cases in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. This role requires a High School diploma or GED, computer skills, and preferred CRCST or CSPDT certification; six months to two years experience in instrument rooms is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• Six months to two years experience in instrument room/sterile processing preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers and operating room instrumentation.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and surgical supply items.
• Excellent team player with strong communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Care for and maintain all surgical instrumentation.
• Set up supplies and instrument trays for procedures.
• Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and patients.
