Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician at Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Pinecroft in The Woodlands, TX. The role ensures proper care and maintenance of all surgical instrumentation and prepares instrument trays for cases.

Requires a High School diploma or GED; CRCST/CSPDT certification preferred and 6 months to 2 years instrument room experience. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and communicate effectively with staff and physicians is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• Six months of experience, preferred.
• 1-2 years experience as Instrument Room Technician preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
• Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
• Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.

Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Pinecroft is hiring a Sterile Processing Tech

Welcome to Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Pinecroft

We have 6 OR rooms and 2 treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in General, GI, ENT, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Spine, Urology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.
