Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with completion of a Surgical Technician Program or equivalent.
• State or center certification as required.
• Experience in ambulatory surgical centers preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding and implementation of aseptic techniques.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and remains competent as part of the surgical team.
• Maintains a sterile field during procedures and prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Supports center philosophy and quality improvement activities.
