Choice Care Surgery Center is seeking a full-time RN for PreOp/PACU to provide continuous, high-quality nursing care before and after anesthesia. You will monitor patient conditions, ensure safety, and support physicians during procedures, including conscious sedation with sterile technique.

Requirements include RN licensure in the state, BLS and ACLS (PALS if required by the center), and 2 years in PACU/critical care preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsabilités

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, ensuring safety, comfort and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile techniques.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assess, plan, implement and evaluate for discharge.
