BJC HealthCare is seeking a Surgery Scheduler for a remote, Monday–Friday role. Based in Missouri, you will coordinate operating room procedures, registrations, precertifications, and related data across departments.

You will manage scheduling, insurance coordination, and data accuracy while supporting the perioperative services team in a fast-paced hospital setting and contributing to patient care continuity.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: <2 years.
• Supervisor Experience: No Experience.
• Preferred: 2-5 years.

Responsabilités

• Schedules patient procedures, surgeries, and any additional equipment or resources.
• Manages the patient procedures from the schedule notification point until the period right before the procedure.
• Coordinates with case management and physician offices insurance requirements for the surgical procedures.
• Completes audits of scheduled procedures and surgeries to ensure accuracy.
• Provides training, answers questions, back-up support to other surgery schedulers.
