Job summary

Homestead Post Acute is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work during weekdays as needed, in person. The role involves carrying out OT-directed treatment, recording notes, and supporting the nursing team in restorative care to improve residents’ daily living activities in a Kentucky facility.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Staff Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per OT Board.
• Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.
• Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problem and plans.
• Participate in discharge planning.
