Solano Baking Company Inc. is seeking a Front Opening Shift Lead to kick off weekday mornings with energy and organized leadership. You will oversee opening tasks, greet customers, take orders, and prepare espresso drinks while maintaining a friendly, efficient environment.

We're looking for a dependable, energetic, and organized Front Opening Shift Lead who takes pride in their work, enjoys serving people, and is ready to take ownership of our weekday mornings.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Opening the front of the bakery and ensuring the store is set for success
• Leading by example by maintaining a positive attitude, efficient work pace, and excellent customer service.
• Greeting customers warmly, taking orders, operating the register, and preparing espresso drinks.
• Communicating clearly with coworkers and management to ensure a smooth transition to the next shift.
• Taking initiative, identifying what needs to be done, and following through without waiting to be reminded.

What We Offer

• Starting pay of $17.00 per hour, plus tips. $0.50 Raise after the first 90 Days
• Tips typically add approximately $5–6 per hour; an estimated average total wage of approximately $22.50 per hour.
• Early weekday morning shifts, no late-night work.
• A supportive, family-owned workplace with a team that values kindness, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Schedule: Opening shifts start at 5:00 a.m. Our store hours are 5:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with shifts potentially ending as late as 1:00 p.m. Flexibility with weekend coverage is appreciated. Specific days and required availability will be discussed during the hiring process.
