Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the USPI GCSA Ambulatory Surgery Center - Northeast. This RN will provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for outpatient gastroenterology procedures in a dedicated ambulatory center.

The role requires an unrestricted state RN license and current BLS/ALS/PALS certifications. Work is weekdays only, with some early mornings or late evenings as schedule allows.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 1–3 years' experience; ambulatory surgical center preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties in accordance with state Nursing Practice Act and facility policies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, principles, and practice to care for patients.
• Monitor patient progress, identify status changes, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Assist physicians and healthcare professionals, providing thorough reports on patient status.
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families.
• Pursue ongoing education to broaden knowledge across age groups and conditions.
• Collaborate with Infection Control to prevent infections.
• Support quality and service improvement initiatives.
• Compliance and safety officer tasks.
• May perform other tasks as assigned.

USPI GCSA Ambulatory Surgery Center - Northeast,is seeking a motivatedRegistered Nurse to join our team. We have 1 OR room and 3 Procedure rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, executing, directing and evaluating direct and indirect nursing care given to patient. The nursing care ranges from preoperative intervention, intraoperative and postoperative evaluation while meeting the patient’s needs and ensuring continuity of care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all nursing duties in accordance with the state Nursing Practice Act, while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.
• Actively demonstrate a working knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, principles, and practice in order to care for the patient.
• Perform routine nursing care while utilizing age specific and universal precaution practices at all times Monitor patient progress and identifies any changes in status, acting on those changes to insure patient comfort and safety.
• Assist physicians and all healthcare professionals caring for patient, always giving a complete and thorough report on patient status throughout procedure process.
• Communicate with all staff, patients, and families with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Consistently seek educational tools in order to broaden knowledge base of various age groups, diseases, and best practices.
• Collaborates with the Infection Control Committee in preventing and identifying potential for infections.
• Supports and demonstrates continuous improvement of quality and service excellence.
• Compliance and safety officer tasks
