Job summary

University Surgical Center in Florida is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse - Operating Room to provide nursing care during surgery and support the surgical team. The RN will position, prep, and circulate cases while ensuring patient safety and high-quality service.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year as a Circulator, be licensed in the state, and hold an active BLS cert. The role is weekdays only with some evenings and a competitive salary plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in good standing (unrestricted).
• Minimum 1 year of Circulator experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• Position, prep, and circulate the surgical case.
• Maintain infection control standards and work with the multidisciplinary team.
• Weekday schedule with no holidays or weekends; some evenings.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.

Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Required Skills:

Required Experience:

• Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
