Job summary

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Main Street seeks an organized Operating Room Manager to lead 5 ORs and 2 treatment rooms, overseeing surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing while driving improvements and patient outcomes.

Requirements include RN licensure in Texas with BLS; CNOR preferred. Five years in surgery as circulator and two years in surgery management are expected, with occasional RN Circulator duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree preferred.
• Five (5) years’ experience in surgery as circulator.
• Two (2) years’ experience in surgery management which includes pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care.
• Current Texas RN License- BLS.
• CNOR preferred.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Managing surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing services.
• Drive improvements using customer satisfaction and employee feedback.
• Collaborate with Senior Management to meet facility goals; assist as RN Circulator/Scrub Tech when needed.
