Job summary

Paradise Locker Meats in Missouri is seeking full-time HOT SIDE BUTCHER PRODUCTION staff to join our growing team. You will perform slaughter floor duties and ensure products meet HACCP standards, with a focus on humane handling of livestock and safe, wholesome results.

The role features Monday–Friday day shifts with potential overtime, no weekends, and a benefits package including health, dental and vision coverage, retirement plan, paid holidays and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience keeping a sharp knife.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Be detail-oriented and accurate in tasks.
• Able to stand up to ten hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct butchering activities on the slaughter floor.
• Perform slaughter duties in line with HACCP and ensure humane handling of livestock and safe products.
• Prepare USDA and company paperwork and facilities for slaughter operations.
• Stun animals humanely and care for livestock.
• Skin beef and lamb; scrape hogs.
• Wash and eviscerate carcasses efficiently.
• Split, trim, wash, sanitize and weigh carcasses.
• Trim, wash and sanitize offal products.
• Perform other duties on the slaughter floor as needed.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
