Job summary

Daily's Premium Meats LLC in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to manage departmental operations, production, safety, and policy enforcement. You will plan and review production schedules, supervise a team, ensure timely reporting, and coordinate with maintenance and the Production Manager.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of supervisory experience in meat processing, with strong English skills and a focus on HACCP/GMP practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior bacon production or meat processing experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate in English; bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day department operations and address issues with corrective actions.
• Supervise 5–50 direct reports; ensure safety and procedures.
• Monitor start-up, operation, and shutdown of the department.
• Review production reports and troubleshoot issues daily.
• Maintain equipment checks and safety compliance.
• Coordinate training for new employees and maintain records.
• Prepare updated production schedules and support QA/QMS initiatives.
• Communicate with management, customers, and suppliers as needed.
