Job summary

Qualifications

• Some experience as a cook in a restaurant, institutional or large volume feeding.
• High School Graduate or GED.

Responsibilities

• Completes the cooking process of menu items using daily worksheets and standardized recipes.
• Organizes daily production in unit.
• Prepares food for inventory and service including portioning, wrapping, labeling, dating items.
• Ensures proper storage and rotation of inventories following HACCP standards.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary food preparation environment.
• Tests and evaluates new recipes and adjusts work hours as needed.
