CLFC Healthcare and Communications is seeking a psychiatric nurse for an on-site role at Wayne County's Lyons outpatient behavioral health clinic. Pay is $52.00–$58.00 per hour, with weekly pay and a W-2 per diem arrangement.

The position offers daytime weekday hours, collaboration with prescribers and therapists, and tuition assistance up to $1,500 annually toward a BSN, plus ongoing CLFC University training.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted New York State RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current BLS (CPR).
• One year of recent RN experience that includes psychiatric, behavioral health or substance use treatment.
• Able to complete the New York State Department of Health Criminal History Record Check and a drug screen, and current on the clinic's required immunizations.

Responsabilités

• Administer and document oral and injectable psychiatric medications, including long-acting injectables.
• Monitor vital signs, metabolic screening and side effects, and keep the prescriber informed.
• Teach patients and families about their medications and treatment plans.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists and care managers.
• Document in the clinic's electronic health record and respond to clinical emergencies per clinic protocol.
