Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications in Lyons, New York, is seeking an experienced RN for outpatient behavioral health clinical work. The role features weekday daytime hours, onsite clinic work, and a compensation range of $52.00 to $58.00 per hour with paid weekly payroll and tuition assistance up to $1,500 per year toward your BSN.

Responsibilities include medication management, monitoring vitals and metabolic screening, patient education, and collaboration with prescribers and therapists.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted New York State RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current BLS (CPR).
• One year of RN experience in psychiatric, behavioral health or substance use treatment.
• Able to complete the NYS DOH Criminal History Record Check and a drug screen; immunizations current.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document oral and injectable psychiatric medications, including long-acting injectables.
• Monitor vital signs, metabolic screening and side effects; inform the prescriber.
• Educate patients and families about medications and treatment plans.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists and care managers.
• Document in the clinic's electronic health record and respond to clinical emergencies per clinic protocol.
