Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications in Lyons, NY is seeking a licensed RN for a weekday daytime psychiatric nursing role at a county outpatient behavioral health clinic. Work schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with no nights or weekends.

The position offers $52.00 to $58.00 per hour, paid weekly, and tuition assistance up to $1,500 per year toward a BSN. Per diem W-2 with flexible availability and paid orientation.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience that includes psychiatric, behavioral health or substance use treatment.
• Current, unrestricted New York State RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current BLS (CPR).
• Ability to complete NYS DOH Criminal History Record Check and drug screen, and maintain required immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document psychiatric medications, including long-acting injectables.
• Monitor vital signs and metabolic screening; report adverse effects to prescriber.
• Educate patients and families about medications and treatment plans.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists and care managers.
• Document in the clinic's electronic health record and respond to clinical emergencies per protocol.
