Wedgewood Weddings in Idaho Springs, CO is seeking a Wedding Sales & Coordinator (Catering Sales Manager) who will drive sales and coordinate weddings from inquiry to execution. This full-time role combines sales leadership, client relations, and events management to deliver unforgettable experiences for couples.

You’ll lead the sales process, build lasting client relationships, coordinate ceremonies and receptions, and use Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools to keep records accurate.

Competenze

• 2+ years of catering sales, event sales, or hospitality experience.
• College degree is a bonus.

In this multifaceted role, you'll plan and coordinate events, drive sales, and create amazing experiences for our clients. Our catering managers are involved from the initial sale through to the execution of the event, so enthusiasm for every aspect of the wedding journey is essential. • Sales Leadership : Drive revenue growth by meeting sales targets, converting leads into happy couples, and utilizing effective upselling strategies
• Client relationships : Build strong connections with couples, guiding them through the sales process with professionalism and care
• Event Coordination : Manage weddings and events from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction
• Administrative tasks: Keep precise records of event details, contracts, and administrative documents using Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Problem Solving : Tackle challenges quickly and with a positive attitude to uphold our commitment to excellence
• Team Leadership : Inspire and motivate event staff to deliver exceptional service and ensure events run seamlessly

• Experience : 2+ years of catering sales, event sales, or hospitality is preferred; a college degree is a bonus

The important extras:

As is typical in the hospitality industry, this position requires regular availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as shifts of more than 8 hours and workweeks of more than 40 hours.
