Job summary

Wedgewood Weddings is seeking a Full-Time Banquet Chef in Temecula, CA, to lead our culinary team for weddings and events. You will prepare buffet and plated meals, manage operations, and ensure top-quality dining in a fast-paced catering setting.

The role requires 3+ years in a lead culinary position or high-volume production, and a ServSafe Manager certification (or ability to obtain). A culinary degree or equivalent hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a lead culinary position or high-volume production experience.
• ServSafe Manager certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Culinary degree or equivalent hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute both buffet and plated meals in a catering environment.
• Lead a dedicated team: motivate and guide a small culinary team, ensuring fiscal responsibility while upholding high culinary standards.
• Manage culinary operations: inventory, ordering, scheduling, and kitchen maintenance while prepping and executing events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization: ensure the kitchen is clean and organized for smooth operation.
• Adhere to standards: follow company recipes, standards, and quality guidelines to deliver outstanding culinary experiences.
• Collaborate as a team player: support your team by taking on prep, cooking, dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning.
