The NYC Financial Information Services Agency–Office of Payroll Administration is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to serve as a WebSphere Administrator, supporting production maintenance and phased HR/Payroll system implementations.

You will install, configure, and troubleshoot middleware, including IBM WebSphere, MQ, and Cognos, work with Git and Ansible, and collaborate with teams to meet deadlines while supporting 24/7 operations.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field plus 4+ years in data center/IT infra.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mansioni

• Install, configure, maintain, and administer IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Support WebSphere Traditional and WebSphere Liberty on Linux/UNIX.
• Manage server.xml, bootstrap.properties, and jvm.options for Liberty.
• Use Git for source control and configuration management.
• Use Ansible for middleware automation, configuration management, and deployments.
• Support CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and CloudBees.
• Administer middleware including IBM MQ, IBM HTTP Server, WebSphere Broker, Oracle WebLogic, Cognos.
• Perform middleware upgrades and patch installations.
• Troubleshoot Java errors and production issues.
• Work with SQL databases and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support large-scale enterprise environment, including nights and weekends when required.
