DOE Media is seeking a detail-oriented Web Development Project Manager to lead website design and development projects from kickoff to launch. You’ll work closely with designers, developers, strategists, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals.

You’ll own timelines, budgets, scopes, risk management, and status reporting, while coordinating cross-functional teams to produce high‑quality, measurable outcomes for our partners.

Formación

• 5+ years in project management in a digital agency or similar
• Strong understanding of web design and development workflows (UX, CMS builds, QA)
• 2+ years client-facing experience
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid workflows
• Experience with capacity planning
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian apps
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience in requirements gathering, scope management and resource planning
• Experience producing project estimates and tracking billable hours

Who we're looking for

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Web Development Project Manager to lead and coordinate web design and development projects from kickoff to launch. You’ll work closely with designers, developers, strategists, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain project timelines, budgets, scopes, and status reports.
• Serve as the main point of contact between internal teams and clients.
• Coordinate collaboration between designers, developers, and content teams.
• Identify risks, troubleshoot roadblocks, and manage changes in scope or timelines.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

What you'll bring to the table

• 2+ years of project management experience in a digital agency or similar environment
• Strong understanding of web design and development workflows (e.g., wireframes, UX, CMS builds, QA, and launch)
• 2+ years client facing experience
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid workflows
• Experience with capacity planning
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian apps
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines at once
• Experience in requirements gathering, scope management and resource planning.
• Experience producing project estimates and tracking billable hours against client budgets
• Experience in developing project timelines, gantt charts, progress reports to communicate status, milestones and projections to key stakeholders

• Experience with WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or other common CMS/eComm platforms
• PMP certification
