Job summary

CENTCOM seeks a Website Designer at MacDill AFB, FL to maintain the usability, performance, and security of the public-facing CENTCOM site. You will collaborate with the Social Media Manager, Multimedia Content Creator, and J6 Directorate to deliver up-to-date content.

Responsibilities include day-to-day site operations, creating pages and CMS templates, developing responsive UI, verifying cross-browser compatibility, and ensuring security compliance.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance at time of award, with eligibility for TS/SCI
• U.S. citizenship; fluent English
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in website design and maintenance
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and CMS platforms

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day website operations, ensuring content is current, organized, and accessible, and create pages and CMS templates.
• Develop responsive design mockups and user-friendly UI elements aligned with CENTCOM branding.
• Verify cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and maintain DoW and CENTCOM security compliance in coordination with J6.
• Collaborate with social media and multimedia teams to ensure seamless content integration.
• Test functionality regularly and recommend performance and user-experience improvements.
• Provide 24/7 support for urgent website issues, troubleshooting during off-hours as required.
