Job summary

People, Technology & Processes seeks a Website Designer to maintain and enhance the CENTCOM public site. The role collaborates with the Social Media Manager, Multimedia Content Creator, and J6 Directorate to ensure content accuracy, usability, and security. Requires 5+ years in website design, strong JS/HTML5/CSS3, and CMS experience.

Secret clearance minimum with eligibility for TS/SCI is required, U.S. citizenship, and 24/7 support for urgent issues may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in website design and maintenance.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and CMS platforms.
• U.S. citizenship; SECRET clearance minimum, with eligibility for TS/SCI.
• Location at MacDill AFB, FL or nearby with security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day website operations, keeping content current, organized, and accessible.
• Develop responsive design mockups and UI elements aligned with CENTCOM branding.
• Verify cross-browser compatibility and maintain DoW and CENTCOM security compliance.
• Collaborate with social media and multimedia teams for seamless content integration.
• Test functionality and performance; implement UX improvements.
• Provide 24/7 support for urgent website issues and off-hours troubleshooting.
