Job summary

Webber, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil infrastructure projects from our Tampa, FL site. You will supervise field teams, manage schedules using Primavera P6 CPM, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure safety and quality across multi-year programs.

The role requires a Civil/Construction engineering degree with 2+ years of experience on large-scale highways/bridges (> $50M) and proficiency in Procore, MS Power BI, and HCSS. Travel is required up to 15% domestically.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience managing heavy construction projects (highways/bridges) >$50M with Primavera P6 and Bluebeam Revu; plus 2+ years using MS Power BI and Heavy Job HCCS.
  • Experience with MS Office, Oracle P6, ProCore, HCSS.

  • Read, understand, and plan according to work specifications and contracts.
  • Anticipate conflicts and implement preventative actions to keep on schedule and budget.
  • Create and maintain RFIs and Submittal logs.
  • Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure performance.
  • Create, update, and monitor project budget and cost control.
  • Track equipment costs and implement budget adherence strategies.
  • Schedule project milestones in Primavera P6 CPM.
  • Provide leadership through example and knowledge sharing.
  • Oversee daily field activities with Superintendents to drive progress.
  • Present information to managers, clients, and the public.

POSITION: Project Manager (multiple positions)

WORKSITE: 12750 Cirtus Park Ln, Tampa, Florida 33625

JOB DUTIES:

  • Ensure a "Safety First" attitude throughout the project from all levels of management and operations. Supervise, manage, and direct the selection, training, development, appraisal, and work assignments of personnel.
  • Develop and maintain a working relationship with the owner or the owner’s representative.
  • Read, understand, and plan according to the work specifications and contract responsibilities.
  • Anticipate project conflicts, communicate preventative action plans, and implement solutions to avoid issues. Understand and plan work according to project plans, change orders, shop drawings, subcontracts, purchase orders, and monthly pay estimates.
  • Create, update, review, and maintain Requests for Information and Submittal logs.
  • Select and oversee Subcontractors and Suppliers.
  • Create, update, review, and maintain budget for project. Generate solutions to stay on time and on budget.
  • Monitor the cost of Equipment on the project and implement strategies to stay within budget.
  • Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines In P6 CPM.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
  • Oversee daily field activities leading to optimal progression of project with Superintendents.
  • Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years' experience managing heavy construction projects such as highways and bridges exceeding $50M to include experience operating Primavera 6 CPM scheduling software and Bluebeam Revu takeoff software; plus 2 years' experience operating MS PowerBI and Heavy Job HCCS to manage civil engineering projects and applying construction math concepts to value engineer cost components exceeding $10M in value. 2 years' experience with MS Office, Oracle P6, ProCore, HCSS.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 10% 15% domestic (regional) travel to project sites, regional and corporate offices.
