Job Description

Objective: Work from plans to build, assemble, fit together, align, plumb, and set in place forms for molding concrete structures.

Job Duties

• Construct forms for concrete and structures
• Check forms during concrete placement
• Assist and direct others in stripping forms after concrete is set
• Install miscellaneous materials in concrete structures
• Install pre-cast concrete elements
• Prepare for slip-forming traffic rails and median barriers
• Install permanent metal deck forms
• Use hand and power tools
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to move throughout the construction site, including climbing ladders and operating heavy equipment
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Perform strenuous physical activities outdoors in various weather conditions
